Learning to bee the best that we can bee!

PREHISTORIC PAST

The Prehistoric Past topic is all about the exciting evolution of the world and our continents.

The Marvellous Mesozoic Era is a highlight of this topic as the children learn about the different dinosaurs throughout this time.

Brrrrrrrr!! Years 3 and 4 get chilly learning about the Ice Age. Did you know we are currently in an interglacial ice age?

Ug Ug Ug! We explore "early man" and how man evolved through the Stone Age, Bronze age and the Iron age.

This is a history-based topic focusing on the Ice age and the Iron Age. The children discover the 3 different periods such as the Cretaceous Period, Jurassic Period and the Triassic period. They begin by learning about Cavemen and study a text called 'Ugg.' They also study 'The Ice Monster' by David Walliams. The children learn about how the earth has looked and changed over the years and the impact on the continents.
